On Android
You can either enter a valid email address or use your Facebook or Google accounts to sign up to Hornet.
To sign up using your email address, please follow these steps:
- Download Hornet from Google Play Store
- On Hornet’s home screen, tap I am new
- Tap Continue with your email
- Enter a valid email address, set a strong password and click Continue
- Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge
- On the next step enter your age in DD/MM/YYYY format and check the box indicating that you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Next, follow a series of steps to personalize your profile (Enter a name => Read the guidelines and upload a profile photo => Set preferences for receiving information messages)
- We’ll send you an email validation message. When you receive it, please tap the Validate my email address button
To sign up using your Facebook account, please follow these steps:
- Download Hornet from Google Play Store
- On Hornet’s home screen, tap I am new
- Tap Continue with Facebook (Don’t worry: we’ll never post anything on your behalf!)
- Sign in to your Facebook account, if necessary, and allow Hornet to connect with it
- Facebook may request confirmation that it is you trying to log into your profile by sending a one-time password to your email or in another way
- On the next step enter your age in DD/MM/YYYY format and check the box indicating that you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Next, follow a series of steps to personalize your profile (Enter a name => Read the guidelines and upload a profile photo => Set preferences for receiving information messages)
- At one of this stages, the application may ask you to solve the reCAPTCHA challenge
To sign up using your Google account, please follow these steps:
- Download Hornet from Google Play Store
- On Hornet’s home screen, tap I am new
- Tap Continue with Google (Don’t worry: we’ll never post anything on your behalf!)
- In the pop-up window, select the Google account you want to use to sign in to Hornet
- Sign in to your Google account, if necessary, and allow Hornet to connect with it
- On the next step enter your age in DD/MM/YYYY format and check the box indicating that you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- Next, follow a series of steps to personalize your profile (Enter a name => Read the guidelines and upload a profile photo => Set preferences for receiving information messages)
- At one of this stages, the application may ask you to solve the reCAPTCHA challenge
On iOS
You can either enter a valid email address or use your Apple or Facebook accounts to sign up to Hornet.
To sign up using your email address, please follow these steps:
- Download Hornet from App Store
- On Hornet’s home screen, tap I’m new
- Tap Continue with your email
- Enter a valid email address, set a strong password, and tap Continue
- At the next stage, the application may ask you to solve the reCAPTCHA challenge
- Next, follow a series of steps to personalize your profile (Enter a name => Enter your age => Read the guidelines and upload a profile photo)
- We’ll send you an email validation message. When you receive it, please tap the Validate my email address button
To sign up using your Apple ID, please follow these steps:
- Download Hornet from App Store
- On Hornet’s home screen, tap I’m new
- Tap Continue with Apple and then tap Continue
- You’ll be asked to choose between sharing or hiding your email address from Hornet
- Next, follow a series of steps to personalize your profile (Enter a name => Enter your age => Read the guidelines and upload a profile photo)
To sign up using your Facebook account, please follow these steps:
- Download Hornet from App Store
- On Hornet’s home screen, tap I’m new
- Tap Continue with Facebook (Don’t worry: we’ll never post anything on your behalf!)
- Sign in to your Facebook account, if necessary, and allow Hornet to connect with it

- On the home page of the website, enter a valid email address, set a strong password and click the Register button
- Complete the reCAPTCHA challenge
- Next, follow a series of steps to personalize your profile (Enter a name => Enter your age => Read the guidelines and upload a profile photo => Select your preferences)
- We’ll send you an email validation message. When you receive it, please click the Validate my email address button

If you cannot find a solution in our FAQ, please write to us at feedback@hornet.com. It is important that you include your Account ID so that we can trace your account. Your Account ID is located in the center of the profile screen (the last icon of the menu located at the bottom of the screen) and begins with the “@” symbol.
